When I dipped my feet to wash off the mud accumulated from dragging anchor, I couldn't help but notice how shockingly cold the water was.
The water temp here in Marathon at 1:00 pm 12-20-13 on a sunny day is 45 degree,s.
I was really hoping to go swimming down here to get cooled off , thats a little more than I would like to be chilled for a leisurely dip!
I will probably try and swim on Christmas and birthday out of sheer stubborness but may pass on New years.
